Improving piglet survival rates and reducing mortality using effective management practices

My last training session was heavily focused on helping a client reverse the negative trend of piglet mortality on his farm. This is a common drawback encountered by pig farmers in Nigeria.

High piglet mortality prevents the farmer from fully enjoying the financial benefits of the piggery business. Here are the most likely factors that cause piglet mortality

  • Low birth weight

  • Diarrhoea

  • Mastitis

  • Sow savagery

  • Sow crushing

  • Wet or dirty farrowing pens

  • Poor farrowing pen design

All these factors are easily avoidable, if you wish to reduce Piglet death on your farm, you can book a Training session with me.

Training is available as a 3-day Program (on the farm).

Call, SMS or WhatsApp 08034209301 for Details.
